About the Position: Paralegal - Sales Representative

The Paralegal/Sales Representative is the first point of contact a potential client has with our firm. They exude quiet confidence. They can handle negotiations with customers and manage difficult contacts without losing a beat. They are the closers and the client intake specialists.

Self motivated and hardworking, this person makes sure the job gets done by treating every contact with respect, responding promptly to all sales messages and ongoing conversations or inquiries, maintaining customer satisfaction, establishing new accounts and completing required data entry with complete accuracy, and growing existing accounts. This person acts as a guide rather than as a salesperson, explaining our processes and what we can and cannot do to assist any potential or new client.

• Pay: $45,000 – $58,000.00 year; paid twice a month, full-time salaried position.

• Job Overview: The Law Firm of Randall & Johnson is looking to hire an experienced person to join our top-notch team. If you're a passionate self-starter, we are an excellent place to work and build your career.
• Location: Work remotely; no commute required. However, we do require that you live in Utah, have a strong internet connection, and have a quiet place to work between the hours of 9am and 6pm California time that fits a computer, at least one but preferably two monitors, and room for a desktop phone setup.
• For all employees located in Utah County, we regularly meet up in person.

Responsibilities Include:

• Support our Sales Manager and attorneys.
• Guide our potential clients to the services that they need.
• Confidently and professionally speak over the phone and correspond via written messages with prospective leads, clients, and any others who contact us.
• Be the point of contact for leads who have questions or needs
• Help us manage our intake system
• Complete client intake including data entry into spreadsheets, our CRM, and our project management system. Will assist with client intake for both the clients that they close but also certain clients closed by the Sales Manager or other staff
• Always contact all leads within the acceptable time frames, even if it means adjusting your work schedule on days that may have a surge in interest. Also willing to cover for other people on their team even if it means adjusting their schedule every now and then.
• Set up upsells for clients, and negotiate upsells with clients under the guidelines established in our policies and procedures.
• Tracking of booked and collected revenue numbers
• Have integrity and be reliable and honest in your dealings with clients and our firm
• Be available to assist as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree. We prefer Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Humanities, English, Social Work, or a similar communication or business focused liberal arts degree
• Desire to help people move forward from their pasts
• Mastery of the English and legal language, both written and spoken
• 1-5 years of experience in a fast-paced position which requires managing multiple tasks and interacting with others in a professional setting. Preference for those with sales or similar experience.
• We equate volunteering for a religious organization with a focus on proselytizing as a substitute for sales experience.
• You do not need a paralegal certificate. After working for Randall & Johnson for 1 year under the supervision of our attorneys, you become a Paralegal pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code.
